Good news from the UK: Bluestronica will be featured on Radio Wigwam’s Indie Jukebox this Friday, September 11.

The programme starts at 11pm BST / midnight CET and features a selection of independent music, including Bluestronica.

For Black & Tan Records, Bluestronica is an ongoing exploration of what happens when the roots of blues meet electronic production, contemporary grooves and other musical influences. The project gives artists the freedom to approach the blues from a different angle — without losing its character and history.

The Radio Wigwam airplay comes at a particularly good moment, with the next Bluestronica release, Bluestronica Funk, due on September 27.

Featuring ElectroBluesSociety, Boo Boo Davis, miXendorp and BLu ACiD, Bluestronica Funk moves the project further towards funk, soul and electronic grooves while remaining firmly connected to the blues.
